As you may have noticed by now, Emotions are the primary topic of this website.

We do not try to define what emotions are. We do not discuss the difference between emotions and feelings. We do not pretend to know everything there is to know about emotions.

What we do is approach emotions from the following three angles:

1. We acknowledge emotions as an important aspect of our biology. Because we are alive, we have emotions.

2. We identify emotions as one of three primary forms of energy that influence the outcomes of our lives. Emotions act in concert with thoughts and actions to create results.

3. We look at the ways specific emotions produce specific results.

We also appreciate the researchers and writers who know more than we do, and whose work has expanded our vision of the effect emotions have on our lives.
